Due to the spring flood much of the Cedar Rapids downtown is empty. Many buildings are boarded and vacant. There is a smell of dampness everywhere. Parking garages are returning to use, but there are few users. (click on image to enlarge)

Thanks for your pictures showing Cedar Rapids post flood. Going on One year, the 2nd largest natural disaster ever to occur in the U.S. has fallen off the national radar. Apparently we are back to "normal". We Cedar Rapidians prefer to think of post flood Cedar Rapids as the "new normal".
