Yesterday's image file reprocessed in a different software program. This is the third post processing program that I have been investigating. The program works very slowly and is not intuitive. However, I prefer the results over the other two programs. Will continue to explore using other files.

I am trying several different image programs because the software that I have been using will not work with the newer cameras. The top photograph was used in a blog entry a while back and was processed using my usual software. The lower image is the same raw file with a new software program. The new program can be used with both the older and newer cameras. The results are certainly different! As in analog photography by using different chemicals, papers and darkroom equipment the same film negative can have a variety of presentations. One image is not better than the other, just different.
